Question: 06 GT 8.8 31 splin diff?

Hello everyone!

I was wondeing if you guys new if a 06 GT would have came from the factory with a 31 spline Trac-Loc differential?
I found one on E-bay and he says it's out a 06 GT with 31 splines. My first thought was, no. But, then again I haven't had one apart.
Oh yeah, I forgot to ask, would that diff fit in a fox 8.8 housing?
