Question about alignments

I took my car to a local shop with a good rep for alignment, they i needed new upper/lower balljoints,no problem, i order parts from Mustangs Plus, i go back today, the left upper was bad after 10 miles, but I had 1.5* neg camber before,drove straight,tight steering, and braked straight. They got it to about 1/2* negative and 1/8" tow in(or out), this thing drive horrible on the way home,when i braked it shook like crazy(stuck piston in caliper) , but the steering feel was too light and felt loose.I should've just left it alone and dealt with the worn tires every few years

Does new parts/correct alignment exagerate the bad parts

one thing about the early mustangs, in fact any early car where the springs are installed above the upper control arm, is that when the spring starts to sag, it makes it very hard to impossible to get proper suspension alignment, mostly camber.

This means the car is better aligned and isn't scrubbing the tires off. Your tires will probably last a lot longer now.

Cutting the springs would have the same effect, would it not?

I was just wondering because now its real "loose" in the front,the slightest movent of the wheel makes the car turn..i used to like to fight the wheel
