My car has a stock ignition and when ever i change the cap/rotor it had corrosion and a bunch of crusty stuff on it. If i clean it off it comes back almost right way. Even when it has a brand new cap/rotor on it. Any ideas?
I assume you mean the contact points inside the cap. It is normal. I think a low energy spark can also cause premature fouling too though Can't say with any certainty.
