Question about coilovers with Bilstein struts.

i currently have qa1 coilovers. i just did a torque arm setup, so i've got to re-spring/strut the front. qa1 rep. told me their coilovers work fine with bilsteins. then i see that MM makes a specific kit for bilstein coilovers.

i have tried to search some online, from what i gather it just uses a sleeve to accomodate the smaller strut diameter. is this correct? what coilover kit(s) work with bilstein struts?

do the qa1 setups work fine? any other companies? i am kinda on a budget here. i dont want to run something that is prone to failure, at the same time i don't feel like dumping $400 on the MM kit when i have one that would work now potetially.

im finding limited info searching. can anyone confirm if thats the only differences in the kits? is it just a sleeve to cover the struts?

i saw a guy reference his qa1 coilover kit screwing up the bilsteins from side loading them. i need to get this stuff ordered asap, got a big cruise in 2 weeks. i'd like to have the car dialed in by then.
