Question about MAP/BAP Sensors

I have a few questions. Im wanting to replace my factory sensor and im wondering which will work. I have an 88 w/ speed density and im wondering if a MAP sensor from a MAF car would work ok? Also is there any difference between a MAP sensor and a BAP sensor or is it pretty much the same thing?

The BAP sensors from the MAF cars will not work with your speed density because they do not have the vac port that you need to connect to the manifold.

Other than that, they're pretty much the same.

Ok sweet thanks! So if i get one with a Vac port all i have to do after the Mass Air Conversion in plug it off, thanks alot!!

Correct only you will not plug off the MAP itself. You leave the port on the MAP open to free air. You will of course, plug the line going back to the manifold.
