Hey guys i am planning on getting a new midpipe soon, but i am indecisive as to what to get. I have the Magnapacks and I heard it with the x-pipe and the prochamber from Mac. I love the sound of the prochamber, but i wont be emissions legal. So i do not know what to do. A lot of people tell me to get o/r H pipes but is there that big of a difference between catted and o/r?? Would i feel a difference if I got the catted version of the h-pipe??

if you are worried about emissins, just spend the extra money and get the catted H

i wouldn't even consider a prochamber if i had any worries about emissions testing. would be a pain trying to switch back & forth between the two pipes every time u have to test car. it doesn't make that much difference anyway. at least mine didn't.

i really love my prochamber. i wouldn't get anything else. maybe the power is a little lower, but the sound is great. prochamber all the way. but if you are that concerned with emissions a catted x-pipe from bassani sounds great with magnaflows. i would base it off sound, because you're not going to be able to feel 1-2RWHP difference

I am not concerned about passing emissions as much as I am about the PIGS, i mean i was thinking i can put the cat shield on it to make it look like it has cats. What do you guys think? Cus i really want that prochamber......any of you guys have any problems with the cops with O/R pipes?

not really around here. cops around here are much much more likely to give u a citation for loudness or god forbid, if u chirp a tire or something; instead of emissions. honestly, i don't think most cops would even be smart enough to realize it doesn't have cats. even if they had it up on a lift. with mr. goodwrench helping them. but, you will be louder without cats, which will draw more attention to you & your car. which might just be all they need to start inspecting your setup; especially, if its a slow night for em...

If you want a catted mid pipe then go with the Magnaflow X, not Bassani. Ive heard of people having their Bassani cats burn up. For emissions, its not like you get it every month, its only once every year or two. I got the magnapacks with pro chamber and LOVE the sound. I get compliments all day long. If you want me to make some good sound clips then PM me or IM me at coman87. Youll love the pro chamber.
