As most of us know with the older 94-95's, the needles in the cluster fade from an orange color to more of a yellowish color. The 2 on the left side are still kinda orange but the rest are a different color. If I put a light coat of paint on them would they still light up at night??? My interior looks almost brand new but the needles kinda throw it off. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreiciate it.

I believe people have put nail polish on them before. I'm almost positive I seen that on here a while back

ya i did it

you pop em off and the paint is only on the back of the needle. You can take the needle off of the middle pieces too...they carefully snap off.

then i sanded the old paint off as it appears they are painted orange, then white over that. paint remover may be a better choice, but wouldnt want to harm the plastic.

then use some Testors model paint and paint the back surface again...this will still allow light to light up the needles and the color on the back will show! Testors actually sells a flourescent orange that looks pretty stock..
