I just upgraded my V6 Stang for a 2003 GT on Saturday. After I got home, I checked the oil and found something sorta strange. The dipstick is not really flat. It's twisted when it comes out, and then it's hard to get it back in. I don't think this is normal, but I just wanted to check with some people here on the board before I went back to the dealer. Please let me know if this is normal or if the dipstick is not like it's supposed to be. Thanks in advance!

The one on my '03 is twisted also. I think it is the intended design.

Thanks guys! I just didn't realize that they were like that. I'm glad to finally be among the ranks of the 4.6 owners! BTW, here is a pick of the new beast! I'll try to get some better pictures up later. Thanks again!

It's supposed to be like that..I personally like the ones that came with my two GT's...It is a twisted wire design (not the flat twisted metal like you have, it's actually like wired) and goes in a out really easily....

I'm just stating the obvious but they are all twisted.

They are also hard to read.

stang looks great. I love the look of the deluxe wheels. Enjoy the beast and as others said, lower it
