Question about porting GT40x heads?

I posted this over in 5.0 Tech but didn't really get any input so I decided to post it here, it might actually belong in 5.0 Talk anyway

Anyway, I currently have GT40x heads and was thinking about getting some AFR 165's this fall. My question is, would I be better off just having my GT40x's heavily ported?

If no one gives you a good answer go ahead and shoot thumper460 a pm. Hes the guy that ports the E7 and GT40 heads and owns thumper performance.

Actually Thumper is the only reply I got on the other post. I didn't realize he does porting and stuff, so I guess I can trust his opinion pretty well.
