question about supercharger

i have a 2002 mustang gt(manual). i was thinking about getting a supercharger from the steeda shop it is a paxton their charging 3.400.00 dollars. is this a good supercharger and if i purchase it will i need to do anyother additions to my car? i have a few mods allready accufab throtlebody, diablo chip, k and n intake, bassani x-pipe with borla catback will i need to replace any of these mods or will they affect the supercharger at all?? thanks for the help.

What exactly do you get from Steeda for $3,400?

As far as your mods go, the throttle body and exhaust will help w/ the S/C, but the diablo and CAI will be replaced w/ a custom tune and duct work from the blower.

I just went and checked their site. It looks like they're selling the Paxton tuner kit for $3500. They have their full kit listed for $4900. If it is the tuner kit, you'll need quite a few pieces, maf, injectors, fuel pump and tune.

IMO, you'd be better going w/ their full kit, if you're sold on steeda, or call up MPH to get a quote on their mongoose kit w/ the novi. I think their kit is around $4200 w/ the Paxon, and $3700 for the Vortech. The choice between the two would more depend upon what your ultimate goal for the car is. If you plan on staying around 10 lbs of boost, the Vortech will work fine for you. The paxton does give the advantage of easier belt changes.
