Question about tranny

I have an 03 GT. Do I have the tranny everyone is always saying grinds into secound? Every once in a while it makes a noise when I am shifting fast but I dont think it is a grind.

yes... it is the Tremec 3650. get used to the noise... lol

Yep... That's it. Until the tranny warms up completely, I have to shift into second somewhat slowly or else the gear grind emerges it's head.

I think it sucks that I live in PHOENIX ARIZONA and I have this cold-running problem. I can't imagine anywhere else in the USA where it's consistently warmer, so everyone else must have it waaaay worse. But what's really sad is that I'm totally used to it, since I shift lazily (or as I prefer to put it - *enjoy* my shifts), I don't really notice it anymore. You can totally feel whether or not it's going to grind by how you put it into second.
