I purchased a JLT/tuner combo from Bamachips, and gave him my info...today, I got the tuner, but no intake. I already have a C&L intake on the car. My question is will the tune run pretty much the same with the C&L on there even though I told Bamachips that a JLT intake would be on there?
I agree with Nasty, but I would also contact Doug to ask if the parameters are the same between the two. Some of them may need specific tunes. I know of at least 4 or 5 that can use a general cai tune no matter what brand it is.
definitely ask before you try it. i wouldn't wanna screw anything up. then again, thats what i do, i screw stuff up. I would shoot Doug an e-mail just to be safe...
Just for future reference, according to Doug at Bamachips, it is NOT ok to use the JLT tune with a C&L intake. Apparently, they are quite different when it comes to tuning.
