I've decided on going with the Steeda aluminum uppers and lowers. My question is... has anyone bought these from Pro3 and do they come as a complete direct bolt-on, or do i need to buy any bushings/spacers or anything to complete the kit?

Any tips on the install would be great to. :nice:

I don't which ones you got but the Steeda's I got came complete. The only tips I have is to do 1 at a time and be sure to use the lube provided on the sides of the bushings before installing them into their mounting positions. :nice: On my lowers they was wanting you to modify the e-brake cable loops but turning them around made for a better fit and kept them clear of everything.

Thanks guys. That's what I needed to know:nice: . There's nothing worse that getting new parts, setting a day aside to do the job and finding out you need parts not included to do it :notnice: .

you will need to remove the old upper rubber bushing from the rear end. Its a pita. I spent about 2hrs on one side then an hour on the other. The lowers are a piece of cake...the ebrake bracket needs a slight trim...you can do this with a wiz wheel or maybe some heavy duty tin snips. There is no side to side movement from the rear end now that I have the upper and lower control arms. Its worth every penny. also the directions are pretty good and Steeda's customer service is awesome!

*edit: you may want to have a mechanic install the uppers....its just a huge pain to remove that rubber bushing from the housing.

Thanks for the heads up :nice: . I'm trying to get this stuff together before I head down to Palm Bay in December. I've got family that is going to help with all the install.

no biggie on the install. me and another guy breezed through it in 2.5 hrs. be sure to be VERY generous with the provided lube for the poly bushings. dry=:Total-CP: they tend to squeel and make noise when they're dry

it's just a bit of a PITA but it's a great mod!
yeah, i actually forgot what kinda insyall it was.
youre gonna need a big a$$ prybar to position the rear axle when you do your uppers. that was kinda a PITA. i did mine on a lift too though, so i couldnt imagine doing it while laying on your back:bang:

I can see why the uppers would be such a PITA, that's why I just totally avoided em...plus I've heard they aren't as noticable as the lowers and can cause binding. The lowers were easy, just essentially swapping them out and, as said above, modifying the e-brake clamp - gave me a chance to use my new air powered cut off wheel!
Even with my (admittedly low end) impact wrench, I couldn't budge the front bolts free, so I was glad to have a breaker bar handy. That and the proper sockets, and, of course jack(s) and stands make this pretty straight-forward.
It does help to have a couple extra hands - thank the lord for my wife who is enjoys getting down and dirty with me - life is good!
