Question about vac leak.

This may be a dumb question, and if so my appologies.
The pcv valve grommet on the back of the intake is pretty worn, and the valve fits in it loosely. Could this be a possible vacuum leak? I ordered a new one yesterday. Just wondering if anyone found this to be the case in the past.

It shouldn't. But having a loose fit like that will cause an oil leak.
