I am planning to buy a set of afr 185's when i get paid tomorrow, the car will prolly see some nitrous also so i am gonna buy the 60cc chamber to help the compression, but i am not sure about what the most economical valvetrain($ wise) pedistal mount or stud mount i am not even sure of what the diffrence is, and what roller rocker setups people reccomend thanks for any advise.

Personal experience says stud over pedestal every time. Mine came with 3/8" stud 1.6 cranes and they are fine. Had troubles with pedestals coming loose on customers cars with performer heads.

run a stud head and use a good rocker also, dont be a cheap ass when buying rockers, no knockoff junk on ebay ie; proform and the no name junk. Scorpions, comps, harland sharp, crane etc..

Also, when running higher compression, make sure to get thread-in studs instead of pressed-in...
