Question? I bought a 1993 fox and 3 months ago and it has a v2 vortech set up on it ,, runs great,, but the alternator went out and I noticed when repairing it I found that who ever set this up made a mounting bracket, it is mounted on the passenger side with out a smog pump, and the alternator is mounted below it, I was wondering if any one knows if there is a mounting bracket kit that will work ,, I looked on vortechs site and called and no one has called me back. this set up is working but iam looking for a smoother look.

If you're looking for a smog pump eliminator, this is the one I use. If you change your current setup such that the belt gets re-routed, you'll probably need to get a different length belt as well.

Exaclty what I run... A smog pump eliminator kit. Works without a hitch

Pictures are helpful in this situation. It sounds as though you are describing a smog pump eliminator in place with the standard Vortech brackets. This is needed unless you want to get very crafty with the tensioner placement and belt routing (I don't recommend eliminating the stock Vortech belt routing on the accessory drive
