I am trying to find out if the hex code in my Stang's computer matches the catch code written on the outside of the computer case. I've heard that, sometimes, a dealer will re-program the computer, resulting in a different hex code.
Does anyone have a list of which hex codes normally go with which catch codes?
My hex code, which I read using my Predator, is RYAF0T3. That's the number zero after the "F", not the letter "O".
My catch code is MHS2.
I need to know which catch code corresponds to RYAF0T3, and which hex code corresponds to MHS2.
Also, I'm wondering if "RYAF0T3" is the correct format. Someone told me that the hex code should be like 5 letters or numbers, then a decimal, then 3 letters or numbers. Is "RYAF0T3" really the hex code?
