What i thought was going to be a smooth transition back to an AOD from T5 is becoming a nightmare. I have spent close to $600 so far for shift, detent cables, and misc other stuff that i ordered from Ford. Tranny was $300 rebuilt from a good friend. Problem is im missing 3 crucial parts and the GT has been sitting at friends mechanic's shop now for 5 months! I am needing a factory 5.0 AOD shifter in good condition, detent cable bracket that bolts to trans, and lastly the stud/bolt assembly on the shift lever of the trans. Anyone have this stuff laying around from a T5 swap? Ford does not make these anymore and MPS is too costly. Im looking for an honest and reliable person to help me out!
