Question for Schlitz-420

From the supercharger thread I noticed in your signature that you also had a Lincoln LS. I think they only come with a five speed auto.

I have an '05 GT with an auto trans and I'd like to change out the factory T-handle for something more like the shifter on the LS or other Ford cars. Do you have any idea if the linkage on the LS and GT are similar enough that a swap might be possible?
