I got my Corbeau TRS leather seats that I am putting in this weekend. I have a quick question about the seatbelt before I do it. I am keeping the stock seatbelts, I know that they are connected to that stupidly annoying chime/dash light. I see the wire that goes into the seatbelt receptacle. Where does the other part of the wire conntect to? Is it connected to the seat or something else? I want to know if I will have trouble if I pull the stock seat out with the chime going off constantly and the dash light flashing. I know there is a procedure to de activate the chime, but honestly, i dont mind having it because it really gets me to wear my seatbelt. I hate wearing seatbelts but that stupid chime keeps me safe because of its annoying dinging.

There is a connector under the seat.Just unplug it you and you won't have the chime anymore.Very easy swap I put in corbeaus also.Great improvement over stock.

OK, does that also turn off the seatbelt dash light?

Post some pics when you're done. I've been looking around for a set of 94-96 Saleen Recaro seats with no luck. I'm about to give up and go after market, so I'm interested in seeing some photos of different seats. Anyone else with aftermarket seats that they'd suggest (not to hi-jack your thread or anything... )??

I have some Recaro 'Style' seats in my '90 Convertible. Nothing wrong with the original Flofits that were in there. I just wanted to preserve the original seats since the fabric is no longer available.
