2 days ago my shifts got pretty hard, then i realised ththat the clutch pedal had to be pushed all the way down with a good bit of force into the floor to smooth the gear changes. i havent driven the car since then and finally got out today to do some clutch adjustment. when i rolled under i saw where the cable goes into the cover on the bellhousing. right where the cable goes in, the insulation is torn away and the cable wrap is kind of unwound a little bit. instead of adjusting the cable i got another one on the way and should have it in about an hour.
how long should it take to change the cable out? any pointers on things to do or not to do to speed up the process?
