Hello,, this is my first post here and also I am more of a classic Mopar guy, but I have a '68 Barracuda that has what I believe are the '94 to '04 Cobra rear disk calipers fitted to it.
Works with a special caliper bracket and Toyota disks, works fine stops great.
But I thought that I saw on a internet posting some where that those calipers have an internal gear or sprag that works with the e brake. And it is the use of the e brake that
keeps the pads adjusted, I went back to find the atricle and I cannot find it.
My question is, do I need to do anything to "set up' the sprag - disk pad spread ?
I did not do anything special when I installed this kit, but I have the rear diff out of the car for some maintenance so if I need to set something when I put it all back together now would be the time.

Much Thanks

Hello
I believe I found what I was asking about in this you tube video,

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AK-UfNqTJd0

The rear disk pads piston ratchets or turns to take up the clearance from the pad wear, the caliper piston
would need to be turned back in only when replacing worn pads with new thicker pads

hopefully this will help those on this site that did not know / reply.

The guy made a decent video, but his safety practices and tools selection is atrocious
