A friend of mine just bought a remap chip and now has need for it.( Totaled his car). THe chip has never been used and is still in the box. The chip was made by APEXi. I am new to the whole re-map thing. I went by the premise the bigger was allways better. So I would drop a 351 engine in a 300z car. I never played around with re-maps. The chip was for a toyota car. Would the chip still be able to adjust and re-map the mustang? He Said that i would just ahve to plug in the ECU chip in to the MAF senser and connect the power cord and a ground. THe box has a dial on it the you can tune the car from the inside. It has a gauge to tell oyu how rich or lean the mix is. Does this sound right? Would it really work???
