Ok i have an 87 GT vert with a Paxton SN93 BLOWER... I already have a set of BBK shorty headers..going into the stock h-pipe with cats in stock exhaust...Im going to be going with an Off H-pipe but i dont know which exhaust to run....A Mac cat back or Flowmaster American thunder system cat back?.....What are most of you guys running and what system will sound the best...I also have a 93 GT vert that is my daily that has stock headers and an OFF road pipe into the stock system with some very old flows...what cat back should i get for that car....Thanks for any input.....

I run a Vortech S-trim and my exhaust is BBK shorty unequals, BBK catted H-pipe, and MAC catback. I wouldn't swap the catback for a Flowmaster one if you paid me. I had the catback on the car long before the blower was ever on there, and it's been an awesome sound since day one. Lots of people are impressed that it's something different than ol' Flows.

I run MAC headers, MAC h-pipe, and MAC cat back 2.5". Getting bored of it though, would prefer to run long tubes, x-pipe and borlas I think.......

For yours I would go with the mac's. A little on the loud side for some however.

MAC is the way to go. Only muffler i will run on a mustang. Your car will sound really nice, you should consider getting an off road x. They go very nice with MAC and get an awesome sound around 3000 rpm.

well the blower won't make it louder, but trust me they will be loud enough when you get into it at 5000rpm with headers and pipe

I thought so too...I was thinking that there is like 850 cfm more going thru the motor now...so im thinking it should be louder....I hope? I love loud exhaust systems... But they have to sound good loud..if you get my drift....

It will get louder, the more power you make the louder its gonna be. When I put my gt40's and cobra intake on my car that already had an e303 cam, it got waaay louder and completely changed the sound of the car. Can't imagine what a charger would do.

Loud = Fast!!

Kidding. I ran both the Mac and the Flowmasters. The day I swapped them, I didn't notice a difference. After a while I did and from the exterior I did, but not a huge one. I say get either, you will be happy with it, and mufflers are very easy to change!

I see 6psi Hoping for more with the UPR powerpipe.maybe like 7-8 psi..i wanted to go with GT40 Heads and Intake but i dont have the funds so im doing the GT40 explorer intake for now...I hope to see 300rwhp when its done.......How do i like it i drove the car once...LMAO...its been in the shop since i got the car... Im so undecided about so many things for the car and money being tight ....its been sitting for 6 months since i bought...Im starting to finally get it back together thank God the shop its at,the guy likes me...lol...I have my 93 GT vert i use everyday..that blew the rear last month so that was $800 down the drain that i could have put toward the 87 so thats what set me back....

I actually just put a sn89 on my car too, I like it but I don't have a boost gauge yet, so I don't know how much boost I'm seeing. The car feels like a totally different car though and it's a lot faster.

Cool whats the difference between the SN89 and SN93 ....Also do you have a sound clip of your car with that exhaust set-up...You should see 5-6 psi..thats about 75-80 hp i think its like 15hp per pound of boost....do you hear your blower at all mine is very very quiet...

My suggestion is to go with the X not because it IS BETTER, but because IMHO it sounds better. Especially when paired with a darn squeaky belt...err Supercharger
