i finished the fronts tonight but i have a question, i had MM CC plates on my car before the coilover instal and i was wondering if im supposed to reuse the polyurathane cone looking thing (yes that the technical term for it at 1 in the morning) that sat right under the strut tower. it didnt say anything about it in the directions and didnt really fit when i tried to use it so i took it off, everything seemed to bolt up fine wihtout it.....am i headed the right way or do i need to use that bushing?? thanks all

Yeah, thats the bump stop. Which struts did you go with for the coil over? The Bilsteins have internal bump stops, I know for sure. Not sure about the Koni's.

So moral of the story, if you have the Bilsteins, ditch that rubber cone lookin-bump stop. If you got the Koni's, call MM and double check.

Correct sir. The Bilstein's have internal bump stops. Discard the ones that came w/ your C/C plates
