My friend has a 4.6 liter 99 mustang he went to a place in Edison to ask some questions on turbo charging his car. know it was a 18-19 year old the kid he was talking to, but I dont think his right. Now I know fox bodys and know them well but the 4.6 I dont really know. he said the car would go nowhere if it had a turbo. he told him to get a honda instead. v8 should not be turbocharged :nonono: last time I check being only 10 minute from the race track I have never seen a slow turbocharged mustang. even a bone stock mustang with a turbo or supercharger is pretty fast. If you can let me know if the kid is right maybe there is something I dont know and the car will be slower. we where not going to just bolt the thing on we would of coarse up grade fuel and change a few thing like to intake and throttle body and stuff but we do wont to leave stock bottom end. Also only planing on running like 6-8 psi, will be daily driver. thanks for looking.

If the guy mentioned the word honda he probably doesnt know what he is talking about..now it should be made known that a turbo usually takes some time to spool up where a supercharger is belt driven and it going to put out constant boost...as for a daily driver I have aalways heard a supercharger is better on the motor but dont quote me on that..in short..the kid must have no clue about cars..

Next time he says stuff like that say this:
"There is no replacement for displacement"

Let us know what his feeble response is to that one...

And yeah, when he said the word Honda that should have been an immediate red flag that he was clueless...

that's just hilarious.. he must've never seen a twin turboed mustang before because the honda lover that he is would have wet his pants right then and there
