questions about gauges..

Ok I'm considering getting some nice gauges. An oil pressure and a water temp gauge. Anyone use anything besides autometer for a quality gauge and if so how do you like them. Also, I was wondering how well Autometers cobalt gauges match our factory black and blue gauges, if anyone has seen the them? Finally, is it worth the extra money for full sweep gauges for these two things...money is a bit of an issue (90 deg. sweep gauses would cost about $100 for both where as full sweep would be like $350 for both approx. in autometer gauges). I was thinking maybe there might be too much detail on the full sweeps (for quick glances) but I dunno.

Seeing how my gauges are white faced I'm using Ford gauges and they come in black also.

So your using mechanical gauges? I worry a bit about plumbing oil to my a-pillar. Also, any recommendations of full vs. 90 deg. sweep?

Also, can I hook up to the factory senders....or do I have to use the aftermarket senders?
