Questions About Horsepower

Can somebody tell me how much rwhp comes on a 99-04 gt (stock everything)? I know the engine is rated at 260 but I was wondering how much of that actually gets to the wheels. Also is there like some kind of percentage formula that can be applied to calculate this (on average)?

i think its around 220-230 to the wheels, when they dyno the stock 99-04 gt

i generally use the rule of about a 15% decrease from the crank to the wheels. That way, I can say i'm doing approx 430 hp at the crank, which sounds more impressive than 363 at the wheels.

That depends on if you have a stick or automatic trans. The automatic eats up a little more HP that the stick does. You lose about 15-16% for the stick and about 19-20% for the automatic.
