Well, Ive tried to call Kenne Bell technical support, but cant ever seem to get through so I thought I would ask here.

If I get the 6 psi non intercooled kit and also purchase the recommended additional equipment:

a: Is all the extra stuff legal for use in CA? (Im talking about the big tube kit with the larger throttle body and larger MAF)

b: Will this additional equipment cause the blower to make more than 6 psi, and hence make it unusable without the intercooler?

Lastly, is the power increase rating that KB gives the kit without all the other stuff (just the base kit) Will I see a 100 HP increase without buying the additional equipment?

Thanks

boost is driven by the pulley you run.

As for there legality I would just look to see if it 50 state legal on the website I am sure it is in a FAQ or something.

I have been trying to get through also and no luck. They have not even answered my e-mail. Reading through all the stuff about 20 times I always dig out a little more.
The power they advertise under the 4.6 2v tuning tips at the top is based on 23 degree timing and I am assuming 100 octane.
They have another small chart and some curves further down in the Timing discussion that shows actual power at lower degree's of timing (readump gas) and such.
They are claiming 4 hp for each degree of timing advance. They advertise 351 hp without the other stuff, but at 23 degrees of timing. I am just guessing that with their tune and pump gas at 93-94 octane you could hit about 330-340 hp at 19 degrees of timing.
They have a chart/curve for 5 psi and 9psi at different octane/timing settings. They list the 9 psi intercooled as having all the add-ons. They don't mention these with the 5 psi curve.
Like I said, I have not been able to ask my questions before I pull the trigger so this is what I have surmised. I am sure someone here can give a more definitive answer.

PSI is all about the pulley.

I'm running the 6PSI with stock TB and MAF with a Steeda CAI...custom SCT tune, and we gained 115 rwhp.

Not sure where the timing is set, but I know she's real safe.

I run her on '94 octane.

Here's the jewelry shot.
