I ran several times last night at my local drag strip with my new mods and my best time was a 9.3. since they didnt hand out time slips i dont know my 60ft or reaction time.

Should i be running better times with my mod that i have ??

Depending on your 60's, I'd say yes, you should be running better. I ran 8.8's in the 1/8th at 78mph with an edelbrock intake, 65mm t-body, headers, x pipe, mufflers, pulleys, homemade CAI, 3.73's and nitto DR's with a 1.91 60' I've never heard of a place that doesn't give you time slips or 60' etc... why go if they don't give you the stuff needed to test and tune your car???

i went with my friends to this track it was out of state and i have never been there b4 i assumed they would give out slips but i learned not to assume stuff now.

Have you had the car tuned? What was the trap speed?

My car hasnt been tuned and the trap speeds were 80-85.

If they were around 85mph then you're right where you should be. Take it to a real 1/4 track and get some sticky tires (i.e SLICKS)! You should be able to hit 12's.

I ran 8.8 at 78mph with the stock heads and cam. I now run 7.8-7.9 at 85-87 in the 1/8th with my current combo, and that's even on DR's. A few more MPH and I will be trapping the same in the 1/8th as I did in the 1/4 stock. I ran 90mph bone stock in the 1/4.
