queston about bumpers

i just bought a new bumper for my 94 GT , i didnt know when i bought it that is said COBRA on the back. (i ordered it mail order) do you guys think i should fill in the cobra lettereing with bondo or leave it saying cobra? . also i have the cobra front bumper on there. let me know what you think

Unless it really bothers you, I'd just leave it, especially if you have a Cobra front bumper, also.

it will sort of bother me cause i have a Gt not a cobra, i like the cobra front bumper. but the back one that says cobra kind of bothers me, and i hate the thought of having a fake cobra

i tell you what, i'll trade ya even..i've got a 95-cobra it says "Mustang" on the rear bumper...freshly painted black as well!

Don't bondo it... that could easily ruin a brand new Cobra bumper if not done correctly.

I know what you mean about the Fobra problem. I have a 96 Cobra hood on mine. Came on the car when I bought it... I was at the gas station a year or so ago and actually had a guy with his kids pull out of the station and pull back in to see my car. When he gets up to the car he could read the GT emblems and actually cussed at ME for having a Fake Cobra.... I just laughed at him as I didn't have time to reply while he was speeding off in his POS little car.

A witness was like... what the hell? I laughed and told the guy that IF the person in the car knew ANYTHING about Mustangs he would have known the front bumper was wrong as well as the taillights and the emblems. What a douche bag!

i work at a body shop so its all good and wouldnt be done wrong but i think im gonna bondo in those letters. i dont want a fobra, i love my gt . ithink it will look kinda cool with out anything embossed in it
