I have the SCT XCAL 2 with a custom tune. After adding some more parts, I went in and adjusted the parameters to make it richer. I selected add 4% fuel, so does that mean I added 4% on top of what I already had or did it erase the amount I had before and swapped it with add 4% so my A/F ratio is way off?

OK I have a question, which is sort of on subject. I just put in 3.73 gears and went to change them on my tune but there is no option to. I know it used to have it but I tried to yesterday and its like its not there anymore. My tuner says that, that is only on base tunes and when you get a custom tune it goes away. Is that true? Now I have to ship tuner to my tuner so he can change the gears in my tune.

u know i am not sure. that happened on my buddys 98 gt although i have not looked at it to verify if that option is not available. but my brothers 07 GT has that option and we changed it for his new gearing so i am not sure on that.

04 - Your dealer either did not enable adjustable parameters in your custom tunes or he has the earlier version of SCT's software where he cannot enable them. Because with an '04 GT it should be an option on a custom tune if enabled. The other thing is when we update tunes for our customers, we just email the tunes to them - then all they have to do is use SCT's free program, LiveLoad to upload the emailed tunes to the XCal 2 - no need to send the device back. Even if he used the older software, he could still email you an Xtreme Tune file and then you could use SCT's older free program, Xtreme Tune to adjust the gear ratio and get an updated tune.
