I recently installed energy motor mounts/tranny mount. That was a b*. I have some crossmember bushings sitting in my garage because I couldn't figure out how to get them on (without removing my stock H-pipe). Its been a while so I don't remember exactly what went wrong. Is this impossible? Any tips tricks?
Also I looked around and I can't see any exact methods for testing a crossmember bushing. I hear people say to pry them. Not very detailed though. Thanks for any help anyone can give :)

I do not know of any way to replace the bushings for the crossmember without removing the H pipe. I think you are stuck with having to remove it.

When I did mine, I had the H pipe off and the crossmember out on the ground. It was easy to see where the bushings were coming apart.

I recommend that you have a jack under the trans to take the strain off the motor mounts when you remove the rear crossmember.
