Quick!!! Harmonic Balancer Help

[Doc Holiday]

I just pulled by harmonic balancer off my '95. When I took the big, retaining bolt that goes into the crankshaft out, some oil dripped out. It wasn't a whole lot, but it formed about a two or three inch circle on my garage floor.

What does this mean? If it is something bad, how can I fix it?

it can be normal (not proper, but it happens). check the front seal and the wear mark on the snout. one can use a sleeve to help out. also, some like to RTV the keyway to help keep oil out.
