quick(hopefully) question on 351w

ok im gonna try a 351w swap, i have two long block 351s , ones out of a 86 vrown vic and the other a 91 crown vic. both are in fine working order they just havent been used in a few years. does anyone know what heads are on them? also both were carbed, and is it a big deal with the switch to efi, i have a 89 with bad motor and was hoping to do a swap with the short block. what im hoping is i can just get an intake and call it a night. possible, thx for input.

its not too bad really, all fo your efi stuff will transfer but you will need to extend the line between the fuel rails behind the intake due to the 351 being a little wider. a few guys in here have done the swap and will help with what you need. good luck.

Your gonna need a new intake made for a efi 351. There are some good ones out there from the big names. Of course to take advantage of the extra cubic inches you will new bigger injectors, mass air, throttle body and fuel pump.
