QUICK HP QUESTION?

Thinkin about tradin my Fox for a 97 GT was wonderin if anybody could give me a rough estimate on horsepower minus nitrous. Here's a list of mods. Maybe 1/4 mile time estimate with 275 Drag radials. I'm thinkin mid 14 sec. car without nitrous, but I've never owned a 4.6.
Engine:
BBk Cold Air
BBK 75mm Tb
Trick Flow plenum
New Intake w/ aluminum crossover
BBK long tube headers
BBK off road H pipe
SLP cat back
Drivetrain:
Aluminum drive shaft
4:10 gears and trick flow girdle

Power Adder
Zex Wet Kit(100hp shot installed)

Are you saying it has the PI swap when you say "new intake manifold"? If so and it is pi-swapped, the car should run mid 13's if not faster with no problems. Otherwise, i think the car should hit LOW 14's with those DR's and 4.10's out back

Id keep the fox :nice:

yup... unless your getting a 99+ 4.6 youve got a better platform to go fast with with the Fox.

And if you have money that you would owe on the 97, which I imagine you would thats more parts for your car if you keep it.

I imagine my car is faster than this one with it runnin the 100 shot, but I'm not lookin for an all out drag car I want somethin with enough power that it's fun to drive though. I'm going to look at it today and see what I think. I'm not desperate to get rid of my car though.

If you just want a newer bodystyle, Id go with a 94-95. I see them all the time in clean condition for ~$5k.

Personally, I wont own another 4.6 2v, and especially not a 96-98 NPI motor. Parts are expensive and limited, and you dont get back much return for what you put in unless its forced induction.

I think once I get rid of my 02 GT, I want to find a clean Fox coupe. Im thinking 347+T56 conversion...
