QUICK maf screen, do i install it?

No, leave it off. Just run a filter of course and you will be fine. I have run mine over a year without the screen in case you wondered.

look at C&L or Pro-M MAF's, you won't see a screen on them. Soooooooooooooo, what do ya think the answer is?

the screen helps even out the airflow which helps the maf get a more accurate reading.

you can leave it out for now, but don't toss it just yet. since you will have a bend just before the maf, the meter may not get consistant readings, so your performance may be erratic. you might decide to put it back in to see if it helps.
