Just a quick question...

I just noticed a dramatic change in my MPG after getting gears installed

Right before installation (stock gears)----16.39mpg

1/2 tank stock gears...1/2 tank 3.73s-----15.16mpg

Full tank 3.73s---------------------------------18.25mpg

I understand that with the 23tooth gear, the speedo is still alittle off. So this also affect the odometer? Does anyone know what the % difference is so i can take that into account when calculating mpg? thanks

I would have to believe you will see slightly inflated mpg results since you will display about 2 to 3 mph faster at highway speeds than your true speed.

The prob is your driven gear

You can't get your driven gear right on the money unless you go into your tail shaft and change out your drive gear

You do of course have an electronic option with Speedcal and the like

yeah, the speedo and odometer are now not accurate. it thinks you have gone farther than you really have gone, and it also thinks you are going faster than you really are.

My car sees only city driving.

Since you have 3.73s, couldnt your MPGs be a little inflated too?
