guy wants to sell it to me for 300, good condition, would it be worth it to run it on my car? i'm not expecting some magical gains but how would it run with the eddy and say a 65 or 70mm throttle body? or would that be overkill for the stock heads/cam (keep in mind car is a sd) thanks

The regular Performer is not all that bad on a stock heads and cam engine. The power range is Idle-5500 rpm....which would be about perfect. You would notice a significant gain above 3500 rpm....Just my opinion.

i agree it would work pretty good on a stock engine like yours.

with a bigger tb also, i would look for a nice gain over 3000 rpm and maybe some lowend power loss.

Definately get it. A tb/mas will help open it up more in the future, but it's a great mod on its own and will give you plenty of room to grow. I noticed a pretty big difference with mine.

I have the Performer on my heads/cam daily driver...it is a great piece and would be absolutely fine and allows the room to grow as stated...

Make sure before you buy it that it is clear of cracks...

There are provisions for all vacuum fittings, EGR, etc. It is CARB legal as most of Edelbrock's stuff is.

Well you are buying it used but I assume your friend will have all the "connections" on there already...

It comes with the studs/nuts/vaccum screw-ins/plugs/etc...the EGR is connected to your throttle body and your throttle body goes to your intake...

You should be fine with the SD...but converting to MAF would be in your best interest for future reference...
