Does anyone know if there is a difference between the sensor for 2001 and 2002 GT's? I have a 2002 GT, and the SES light came on, ran the codes, got a camshaft position sensor malfunction. I bought one off of the net, but it said it was for a 2001, and the prongs are too wide. So did they just send me the wrong one, or is there a difference? Thanks.

modular cam sensor is the same from 1991 to 2007 cars, there have been a few design changes but it still pretty much the same one

whats the part # you bought and is it Ford or some aftermarket crap?

I thought it was a Ford part when I ordered it, but when it arrived, I realized it was a Delphi. Part # is A4015-177230. The prongs are too wide to fit on the connector.
