Quick Question: BFG Drag Radials VS ET Streets?

So I'm about to pull the trigger and buy some tires to put on a pair of 96 Cobra rims I have. Which would be my best bet? The BFG Drag Radials are the old style design

VS

Now these will see more track duty than street duty. Which one would you recommend? The ET streets are just 9 more dollars than the BFGs.

BTW, they are both 275/40-17 and I will work on the suspension mods next.

I've seen and heard several people have great success with the ET Streets. Also the M&H sounds like it's a very good tire. Unfortunately, it comes down to weather, track prep, tire psi and driver skill(setting up the car for the tire and launching technique)that really matters more than tire choice.

Go with the ET streets, far superior traction in that DR over the BFG.

If you're wanting a good track tire, M/T ET Streets or M&H Racemasters are your only choices. The rubber compounds used on the BFG's and Nittos don't hold a candle to the aforementioned tires.
