quick question on hood latch...pic's

Believe it or not it goes in very much like the stock one I dont remember exactly how I did it but it does fit together if yours is from Cervini! U can always call them they are good people and helped me a lot and I didn't even buy it from them!!
 
Thats just the spring...it pops the hood up when you release the cable. Its not really needed, i don't know why Cervini doesn't use it. I'm sure you could modify a small coil spring to allow the hood to come up to release the latch.
 
Whenever installing a new hood, you'll usually have to adjust the latch mechanism. It probably needs raised to catch. Just two bolts holding it. May need moved left/right too if the hood shifts while lowering onto the latch. Hoods are finicky bitches,lol.

Agree. I had to do this with my hood to get it to latch. It is a Cervini's also.
