I looked in my manual and did a search and didnt come up with anything.
On the front of my armrest console there is a Cigarrette lighter (in addition to the one on the shifter console. Anyway, Ive never been able to use the one on my armrest. Im assuming its a fuse. Do any of you know which fuse it is?

Thanks

You know I had the same problem with mine when I got my car. I didn't really need to use it but it bugged the hell out of me when it wouldnt work. I changed out every fuse I could find then finally I just took it out to inspect it. Funny thing was that it wasn't even wired up. As to why yours isn't working. I dont know but I work at Advanced Auto parts and a guy came in a while back and had the same problem I did and his wasn't wired up either. So yeah.

Pop the cupholder thingy out and look in there at the wires ... On my 98 there are like three grey wiring harnesses and one of them controls the lighter I'm pretty sure ... Make sure they are all connected as mentioned already ...

If you blow the fuse for the one in the dash it should affect a few things. Think the stero is one of them. Or maybe its the windshield one? Any way i know the fuse to that should control more then one thing just speaking from experiance. So if its the only thing jacked you need to look into the wires its a simple DC circuit. positive wire ground wire and a fuse.

Also check the fuses under the hood there is a few small fuses in there that corrispond to things inside your car as well. Again just from experiance.

yep. check the ones under that hood, they are the bigger fuses that look like the little ones. They are about an 1 1/4 long.
