Do I really need the alternator underdrive pulley? I have a large system and my voltage is allready pretty low. Will it sacrafice much power? Whats the deal with running stock alt pulley?

i'd need a second opinion but it looked really similar in size to me

of course the smallest difference could change a lot

you don't need to use the alt. pulley, it can (and will) cause charging issues when at idle.

Use the stock alternator pulley...the underdrive one will most likely cause you nothing but problems, I know it did for me.

well in the instructions for the march u/d pullies, it said it might cause problems, and if it did all you had to do was add a lock washer because the alternator shaft is longer on some cars and i guess slips if it is- causing charging problems. i didn't use the lock washer though
