I went to the garage with the video camera and shot a quick little video. Open Headers........The High-temp Powdercoat is not coming off!

Does the old stye II rad work well for keeping your 351 cool?

sounds nice man. what is that behind the carb? is it cruise control out of something else??????

Thanks Guys,

I did have a cooling problem before I didn the current build. I don't think it was radiator related, I think it was too small of a water pump pulley. It would only heat up on the highway, it was fine around town. We'll see how the electric fan works and go form there.

I forget what I eventually got the cruise out of. I had one from a 70's van, but I think I am using one from a Bronco. I cut and welded the bracket to get things to fit where it is. I have a little more than a quarter inch between the carb and the cruise and about the same between the cruise and the pinch weld at the firewall.

No, that's not paint. That's how I stole it back for the body shop after he stopped working on it. He sprayed the sealer and when we saw some of the imperfections in the body we were going to do more work. He then decided to leave it sit outside with no quarter windows, and no hood scoop installed. So I went and picked it up and I am out the money I paid him. So that is just sealer. It will need to be scuffed and hit with primer before I top coat it.
