www.cp-e.com or search Ebay for a Mustang Radio Bezel

1/8" aluminum CNC cut and powdercoated.

Unfortunately I dont have any gauges to put in it yet. And you can flip it 180* to have the radio on the bottom.

Hey would you happen to know the length and width of that piece? Thanks

How easily is it to read gauges down there while driving??

I just ordered that same radio / gauge bezel on Friday.. I also ordered some Autometer Ultra-lite gauges to install. Hopefully it's all delivered this week because I am planning to do the install this weekend. If it all works out, I can take some pictures of the gauges in their installed positions then.

I'd like to see a few pictures from the driver's perspective looking down if possible.

I'll take a whole bunch of photos from the drivers seat (not while I'm driving :D ) That way people will beable to decide for themselves later on.

I'm putting in

Oil Pressure
Oil Temperature
Water Temperature

Once I establish normal readings after a week or so, I'll mark the gauges with red paint to make quick glances a lot easier.

To mount the metal plate to the console you just use four screws in the corners. If your console doesn't have the screw holes, just mark and drill and then use a course threaded screw to tap into the plastic. (make sure your drill bit is smaller than your screw)

its made to fit the stock radio location.

Just measure that. If you want I can measure it later.

That would be awesome if you could:nice: . I dont have any radio mounting panel or anything so i cant measure off that. My radio kinda just lays in there. I saw a friend do this out of lexan i think its called(clear stuff) and looked pretty sick. I was thinking that would look pretty cool with a colored light behind it or something too.

Mustang5L5,
Since that panel looks like it's perfectly flat you could buy some of those angle rings that Auto Meter makes to point their faces towards you a little more...that is if you decided to use that panel.

Exactly what I suggested. I have a hard time reading the CD player that is above where the gauges will be...
Just need to see if the shifter and my big hand will clear with the angle rings.

Ive also thought about moving the Climate Controls down to the bottom, but the plate to do it is like $100...

Sorry to dig this one back up, but here's my solution to mounting gauges instead of the vent location:

And this is Dave's custom piece I did for the center vent:

It's fiberglass with a grill mesh for the vents, and it was mated to a stock vent collector, so it just snaps in place as stock. A lot of hours in this little part...
