raced a H/C/I 95 GT tonight

tonight i raced a 95 gt with, gt40 heads,1.7 rockers, E-303 cam, gt40 intakes, CAI, 3.55 gears, shorty headers, mac H-pipe,flomaster cat back, and a short throw shifter, the kid is a good driver an his car runs excellent and he only beat me by a quarter of a car length. its amazing how much of a difference gears make. this kid has so much work into his car, my car is pretty much stock except for my mods below and he barley took me. i had a good night, that made my week

or he could be like me and his car isnt running perfect....im not sayin ur car isnt fast by any means but if someone asks me what i have in mine, i tell them my sig but my car has been running sooooo funny for a few months that i doubt id pull off a mid/high 14 .....nice kill tho

i dont even know what mph, i had such an adrelelin rush i forgot to look an my speedo is so off, but his car runs like perfect, it was just tuned. i know i beat him in the 1/4 mile by like a few feet but after that he passed me so he pretty much still won but not by much.

With an E-cam and GT40 heads I'm guessing his low end ain't that great. So with gears and a stock E7/HO cam setup it could be tight for a bit. My '98 Cobra was neck & neck with a stock 94/95 GT until almost 60 mph, before the Cobra finally started showing it's extra breathing room. Torque is a good thing!
