I think your only option is to cut out the seat risers (two humps that run across the floorpan that the seats bolt through) and weld in flat bar, etc. support in place of it to re-strengthen the floor/seat mount. I think there is an online article in one of the Mustang magazines on this, do an internet search. I think those seats are too thick in the seat pad and mount design compared to the originals you're replacing.

I'm 6'1" w/'67 and used foxbody seats ('87-93) in order to get upper back support, headrest, reclining seats and more comfortable seats with bolsters to replace my stockers. With the use of a piece of flat bar as an adapter and removing the 'feet' that came on the foxbody seats they are no higher than my stockers and much more comfortable just to give you an idea:

I'm 6'3" as well, I'm using Fiero seats, using modified Fiero rails, I fit without any issue...roughly the same height(or possibly a touch lower) than stockers by the time everything is said and done

I just put a set of Recaros in my Mustang. I'm 6'2

I also lowered the seat risers too
