I just popped in my Superchips 1725 handheld tuner yesterday to change the tune, and I noticed that the fan wasn't coming on anymore like it used to. The fan would usually stay on during the duration of flashing the PCM. Does this possibly mean that my fan is dead?

If so, does that mean replacing the entire radiator? My temperature gauge is in the normal levels (middle).

...I can take it. I think.

Try reaching down and turning the blade by hand...with the car off. If the fan turns you should be OK. If it has resistance the fan motor has gone probably bad.

Next...let the car run for awhile to make sure the fan cycles. If it doesn't the water temp should get pretty hot at idle.

The fan is separate from the radiator so it can be swapped individually.

I would rather see you try to turn the fan blades with a stick, not your hands. The fan should not run with the ignition off, but you never know what modifications a previous owner may have made.
