Hey, I managed to crack my radiator before my intake (96 GT Vert). Its a pinhole crack right where the upper hose comes into the radiator, at the fitting's joint to the radiator endcap.
I *think* the plastic is ABS, so I am going to try to patch it with some ABS pipe or similar ABS smear mixed with Methyl Ethly Ketone.. and hopefully make it a LOT stronger in the process. Any commentary on this plan appreciated.
P.S. I know.. I should shell out the cash for a new radiator, but $ is tight and I rather not put another stock one in. If I run accross a better one that will fit fairly stock (like some of the 2 rows out there) I might do it later.
Too bad every piece of weak plastic junk isn't covered under a silent recall
